Travelling tips - Packing list:
- A comfortable pair of shoes, chances are you will be walking your way around Venice.
- An easy to carry luggage, if you are planning to reach your final destination by foot.
- An umbrella or a rain coat, as it will make your life easier in case of rain.
- An anti-mosquito lotion when travelling in spring and summer.
- A hat, sunglasses and sun tan lotion. They will come handy during the warmer months. And don't forget to drink plenty of water during the day to avoid a sunstroke.
- A photocopy of your social insurance card and passport, as a safety measure you can take them with you and avoid carrying around the original documents.
- A current transformer, if the voltage in your country is not 220V.
- A scarf or a shawl: visiting churches or other religious locations during the warmer months, you may be asked to cover your bare shoulders as a sign of respect. You don't want to miss a visit because of a minor forgetfulness.
